A Little About Me

  • I'm shit at making new friends/meeting new people. Strange, considering the amount of times I've moved: Born in The States (Virginia), then moved to Germany, then Belgium, then England, then Canada, then back to Germany, then back to England again.

  • I'm the least prejudice person I know. I think moving a lot taught me that it doesn't matter where you come from. At all. Because you're here now. I pretty much grew up with other pads-brats, they were similar. So it was horrible, moving to England and being called a 'Nazi' or 'Paki'/terrorist (my Grandad was from Pakistan) and I got SO angry that people thought that they could talk about other races like shit, when hardly any of them hadn't even stepped a foot out of England. Let alone Europe or the Middle East.

  • I hate the BNP.

  • I find religion really interesting, mostly because I can never understand how people are willing to believe in something like god.

  • Sometimes I think that I only do the things I do so people would like me more. Then I remind myself that I don't give a shit what they think.

  • I don't think anyone would believe that 'Wild Horses' by the Rolling Stones has reduced me to tears, as well as 'In My Life' - The Beatles, not forgetting every Extreme Makeover Home Edition I watch, oh, and the news.

  • I'm in love with Paul McCartney. When I say this, people are like 'Oh, even Wings?!'. I find it hard to explain that I love his music, but I love him more. Then I get embarrassed 'cause YES, I do realise he is old enough to be my grandaddy and I DON'T CARE. It's just as creepy as their 'obsession' (as people like to call it, but I think that makes it sound stalker-y) with that Twilight guy or Brad Pitt (sick). Besides. It's not even creepy.

  • I think people grow up too quickly.

Apologies for the long post. I do realise it doesn't actually tell you much about me. And I'm sorry if you got bored. And I'm also realizing that my life isn't interesting enough to start a blog on, so I will stick with shorter posts about random things such as my previous two, unless of course something interesting happens. I'm hungry now, I can smell curry.

Ray Davies

For those who don't know who Ray Davies is, he was in The Kinks. If you don't know who the Kinks are, then shame on you. Stop listening to that Gaga shit. It will improve your health. I'm sure of it.
I saw Ray Davies at Glastonbury this year. I was drunk at the time, so unfortunately I couldn't actually go into the tent for fear of throwing up on people. But I don't mind. He sang all my favourites: Waterloo Sunset, Days, Sunny Afternoon, Lola Lolololololaaa and others. I might have made some up. It was the single most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. I loved every second. It was my Prom night. I'm so fucking glad I chose Glasto over Prom. I had the best Prom night ever.

Age

When I'm older I don't want a house, I don't want a job, I don't want be be married and I don't want kids. When I'm older, I will live in a caravan, I will be in love, I will see the most amazing places on this earth, I will do what I want to do. While all my friends stay at home, cooking three different meals and spending their time working and not having fun, wondering why they didn't just do what they wanted and how they ended up in this never ending spiral of shit.
